The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is a world of adventure that does a world of good. The Zoo is home to more than 9,000 animals representing 650 species from around the globe. A recreation and education destination that includes the 22-acre Zoombezi Bay water park and 18-hole Safari Golf Club, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium was named the #1 zoo in America by USA Travel Guide.
Open during the summer months of late May to early September, this water park, connected to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, is fun for all ages. Offering a central wave pool, a lazy river that connects every area of the park and multiple raft and body slides, you won't feel like you are in Columbus, Ohio at Zoombezi Bay. Stop by Stingray Bay to touch live stingrays or dry off and enjoy some of the land rides at Jungle Jack's Landing just outside of the park.
The Safari Golf Club at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is open seven days a week and is perfect for all skill levels. Adjacent to the Zoo, this 18-hole, 140-acre golf course also includes a Clubhouse with a Pro Shop and Safari Grill as well as a Learning Center. The Learning Center includes a new driving range and practice putting and chipping greens. Open almost daily from sunrise to dusk (Tuesday - 11am to dusk).
Directly across from NorthPointe Hotel and Conference Center, Highbanks is the perfect setting for people of all ages for picnicking, hiking or biking on one of Highbanks' seven established trails, and enjoy a spectacular view of the Olentangy River. Be sure to visit the wetland viewing shelter as well as the nature center. This 206-acre dedicated state scenic nature preserve is also a great place for cross-country skiing and sledding in the winter months.
Located just by downtown Delaware, Ohio Wesleyan University is one of the nation's top small liberal arts colleges. OWU boasts a 200 acre campus and 1,850 students. A number of the buildings on campus have national landmark status. While visiting OWU, be sure to check out Strand Theatre, Mean Bean Caffeine Lounge and Amato's Wood-Fired Pizza or get a quick bite to eat at Hamburger Inn or Buns Restaurant.

Famous for the annual Ohio State Fair which celebrates all that Ohio has to offer. From our rich agricultural displays to a cow sculpture made completely from butter, the Ohio Stat Fair is a feast for all your senses. The fairgrounds are also host to many other exhibitions and events throughout the year such as the Quarter Horse Congress. Also on the fairgrounds is the Ohio Expo Center which provides a venue to over 150 events each year.
Established in 1855, the Delaware County Fair hosts the prestigious Little Brown Jug, a premier horse pacing race. On top the race, the fair provides fun for the whole family with an array of entertainment such as amusement rides, pumpkin contests and 4H exhibits in held in mid September each year.

NorthPointe Hotel and Conference Center is available to anyone wishing to use our unique venue for meetings, conferences, events, weddings, accommodations and dining. We are proudly owned and utilized by Columbus-based Nationwide Insurance, but we are open to the public.
Are the hotel rooms available for non-group use?
